Welcome to NwodKram (Markdown Editor) (hereinafter referred to as “the App”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your data. This Privacy Policy outlines how the App handles, stores, and protects your information.

1. Data Collection & Principles (Local-First)

The App is designed with a Local-First privacy philosophy:

• No Tracking or Analytics: The App does NOT integrate any third-party ad networks, analytics SDKs, or user tracking tools. We do not collect any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, phone number, email address, or hardware identifiers.
• Document & Image Storage: All Markdown documents created or edited within the App, as well as inserted local images, are stored exclusively inside your device’s private app sandbox.

2. Permissions & Feature Disclosures

To provide core editor functionalities, the App requests permissions or system access strictly as needed:

• Storage & File Access:
  • Import & Export: When you explicitly use the “Import File” or “Export Document” feature, the system Document Picker is invoked to read user-selected Markdown files or save exported files to your chosen location. The App never scans or accesses unauthorized directory locations.
  • Image Attachment: When inserting images into a document, selected image files are copied to the App’s isolated sandbox storage directory (images/{documentId}/) for local inline preview and management.
• Network Access (Optional Cloud Sync Only):
  • Core editing and preview capabilities work completely offline without requiring an internet connection.
  • Google Drive Sync (Optional Pro Feature): If you choose to enable Google Drive synchronization, the App uses standard OAuth 2.0 protocol to authenticate directly with Google APIs. All sync activities occur directly between your device and Google’s official endpoints (www.googleapis.com) without passing through any intermediate servers. Only your local app documents and associated images are synchronized.

3. Data Sharing & Disclosure

Because we do not operate a central backend server and do not collect user data, we DO NOT sell, trade, rent, or share your documents, images, or personal info with any third parties.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

• Control: You retain full control over your data stored locally on your device.
• Deletion:
  • Deleting a document within the App permanently removes the text entry and associated image folder from local device storage.
  • Uninstalling the App will result in the permanent deletion of all local app sandbox data by the operating system (we recommend exporting important files prior to uninstallation).

5. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.

2. 权限与应用功能说明

为实现应用的核心功能，本应用可能会在必要时向您申请以下权限或调用系统能力：

• 存储与文件访问权限：
  • 导入与导出：当您主动使用“导入文件”或“导出文档”功能时，系统将调用原生文件选择器（Document Picker），用于读取您指定的 Markdown 文件或将文件写出至您选择的保存位置。本应用绝不会在未经授权的情况下扫描或读取您设备中的其他无关文件。
  • 图片插入：当您在文档中插入图片时，本应用会将选取的图片复制到应用沙盒目录（images/{documentId}/）中进行统一管理。
• 网络访问权限（仅用于可选的云同步功能）：
  • 本应用的核心编辑与预览功能完全支持脱机（离线）使用。
  • Google Drive 云同步（付费/Pro 功能）：如果您主动开启 Google Drive 同步功能，本应用将使用标准 OAuth 2.0 授权机制向 Google 请求访问权限。同步过程为设备与 Google Drive 官方 API（www.googleapis.com）之间的直接通信，不经过任何第三方的中转服务器。同步的数据仅包含您保存在应用内的文档与关联图片。

3. 数据共享与披露

由于本应用不设中央服务器且不收集用户数据，我们不会将您的任何文档内容、图片或个人信息出售、出租、交易或以其他方式披露给任何第三方。

4. 数据保存与删除

• 数据安全：您的数据完全由您掌控，保存在您设备的本地沙盒中。
• 数据删除：
  • 在应用内删除文档时，该文档记录及关联的本地图片目录将被同步永久删除。
  • 若您卸载本应用，设备沙盒内存储的所有文档及关联数据将被系统一并清除（建议在卸载前主动导出重要文档）。

5. 儿童隐私保护

本应用不针对 13 岁以下的儿童，且不会故意收集儿童的任何个人身份信息。

6. 本隐私政策的变更

我们可能会不时更新本隐私政策。任何变更均会在本页面公布并更新生效日期。
